BREAKING: STIPE MIOCIC OUT OF UFC FIGHT NIGHT 76 CO-MAIN EVENT AGAINST BEN ROTHWELL

MMAOddsBreaker.com can now formally confirm UFC Heavyweight Stipe Miocic has been forced out of his upcoming UFC Fight Night 76 bout against Ben Rothwell due to an unspecified training accident. Both top 10 fighters were scheduled to throw down in the co-main occasion of next Saturday’s (October 24, 2015) occasion in Dublin, Ireland, which is headlined by the lightweight conflict involving Joseph Duffy and Dustin Poirier and will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass. Miocic (#3 rated HW) was coming off the most impressive performance of his career, a fifth round TKO stoppage of former title challenger Mark Hunt where he set a UFC heavyweight record for the majority of strikes landed at one struggle. He’s won four of his last five fights with his only loss being a competitive decision against former champion Junior dos Santos. Rothwell (#7 ranked HW) is currently riding a three-fight win series which included surprising first round angry stoppage successes over the Matt Mitrione and Alistair Overeem. There has been no word yet regarding whether or not UFC matchmakers will be able to find a last minute replacement or if Rothwell will be forced off the fight card.
